SCHEDULE OF FEES

All membership dues and certification fees are set by the Wyoming Seed Certification Service and the Wyoming Crop Improvement Association Board of Directors.  The fees and dues are based on the cost of conducting the seed certification program and are subject to change upon joint approval of the Board and the Seed Certification Office.

The current fees are listed below:

WCIA Membership Fee....................$50.00
All applicants who produce Certified seed must be members of the Wyoming Crop Improvement Association.  The membership is paid once a year regardless of the number of crops certified, and is normally submitted with the first application for certification.  If the applicant and the grower are not the same party, both must be members.  In addition, any person, company, or firm interested in the Wyoming Seed Certification Service may apply for membership.

Application Fee.......................$15.00 per application
One variety per application, up to 6 fields per application except for small grains, where more than 6 fields may be on one application.  Additional fields will need a separate application, and will be assessed the application fee.

Acreage Inspection Fees:
Small Grain...................................$6.00 per acre*
Grass & Legumes.........................$6.00 per acre
Beans...........................................$7.00 per acre

*Fee may be reduced to $3.00 per acre post-inspection but pre-harvest for fields damaged by an act of God.

Reinspection…………………….$50 per field under 50 acres, or $1 per acre for fields over 50 acres.

New Seedlings (Perennials).............$22.50/field (year of seeding only)

Minimum Acreage Inspection Fee...$30.00 (5 acres or less)

Late applications.............................$22.50 (applications received after the due date for that crop)
The Wyoming Seed Certification Service reserves the right to refuse any applications post marked after June 30th.

Other Inspection Fees................$40 per hour plus associated costs such as lodging when appropriate
This fee would be used for wildland collection site inspection as well as service inspections such as combine or grain bin inspections.

Transfer Certificate Fees:
Transfer Certificates.................................$16.50 each

Tag Fees:
Analysis and Conditioner Tags – WSCS printed…...............$0.18 each

Analysis and Conditioner Tags – Company printed...............$0.10 each

Analysis and Conditioner Tags – Reprints…………………..$0.08 each
Bulk Certification............................$0.15/cwt. Plus $3.00 per Certificate

Billing Late Fees:
Bills over 30 days past due.................................$25.00 for each 30 days past due.
